Cars 3 RC toys

Cars 3 (Pixar/Disney) project developed for Toy Plus in collaboration with Top Design communication agency. This project implied the 3D modelling of pieces, external shape adaptation, mechanical component design and plastic engineering for mass production, basically the job was to transform science fiction into reality. The chassis and car body of the Cars 3 vehicles have a combination of complex surfaces and organic shapes, this made the modelling process quite difficult, many of the cars where developed during the film production itself, this made the design procedure more arduous. In the specific case of Mack truck the design task was more extensive due to the number of pieces, assembly parts, mechanisms and different components.
